ABOUT
“I haven’t just studied fundraising theory or observed campaigns from the sidelines. I’ve lived it.”
— Becky Moss, Founder & Chief Consultant
I’ve walked in many of your shoes — juggling tight deadlines and even tighter budgets, managing board expectations with limited staff capacity, and navigating the complex reality of nonprofit fundraising.
I’ve worked with grassroots organizations where I was the only fundraiser, and with larger teams of ten or more. I know what it’s like to build a base of supporters from scratch — without the built-in advantage of alumni networks or grateful patients.
Over the years, I’ve had to get creative:
– Securing sponsorships for organizations heavily reliant on federal grants
– Finding ways to engage long-time stakeholders to help tell an organization’s story — not just for nostalgia, but to fuel a culture of philanthropy
I don’t offer generic strategies or distant advice. I offer real-world, actionable support — the kind that understands your constraints, your urgency, and your passion.
My work isn’t just about charts and metrics. It’s about making smart decisions that work in the real world, not just on paper. I’ve lived it, stumbled through it, and grown because of it.
Yes, I’ll bring best practices in the art and science of fundraising — but more importantly, I aim to be the partner I always wished
I had:
Someone who listens first, understands the nonprofit grind, and brings both strategic clarity and human empathy to the table.
I’ve stepped into this consulting space to share what I’ve learned — so you don’t have to go it alone.
